The Mall Shopping Centre Blackburn

On Saturday 30th July 2016, shoppers arriving at the new bus station in Blackburn were “greeted & treated!” to the sounds of Piping Hot Brass, as the band provided the music for the official opening of the new up/down escalator, linking the new bus station to The Mall Shopping Centre.

It was clearly Holiday time, and even though we were down to six players on this occasion, absolutely brilliant to report, everyone put their parts in and worked extra hard. This was made even more special, as three of the players on the day have been playing brass instruments for less than two years at this point.

Well done everyone.

Our MD tried out the escalator on arrival at 9am, he reports, anyone visiting Blackburn should be aware, take the left side escalator, its much quicker!! Oh Keith “grow up please”.
